Hello,

I'm conducting my research on establishing an LLC in UK for doing E-commerce business in World. The reasons to establish in UK are:
  • I'll be getting a UK registered company.
  • I'll be legally allowed to use payment gateways. (which aren't available in Pakistan)
  • UK is a big market itself for many aspects.
  • and many more
I've contacted Company Formation agent which are agreed to register my sole proprietor company for me.

I want to know what is the procedure to open a bank account in UK under the company name . I've withdrawn the idea of establishing LLC in US, because the banks require to physical presence for some purposes.

What bank is best for opening and managing account online.

Thanks

You need to prove your identity to open a bank account (generally with a passport or driving licence and utility bill or similar as proof of address). If you aren't a UK resident you would almost certainly have to visit a bank branch in the UK to do this. Any bank will allow you to manage your account via internet banking.

Yeah, I have no problem proving my identity as I want everything to be legal.

Aahh. I can't fly to UK just for the sake of opening a bank account. I'll be having visa issues and seriously It'll cost $1000+ to fly from Pak to UK.
