What Is The Best Software For Creating iXBRL?

This is my first year doing my own business accounts, that's the easy bit, I'm just having problems trying to get my head around this iXBRL formatting :|

Does anyone know the best software for producing iXBRL? I use Sage 50 2011 version.

If you're preparing your own accounts, then you could use the free online filing software provided by HM Revenue & Customs. More details about this can be found here.

I only have about 15 transactions a month now after slimming down the company drastically so it's not really worth paying an account when the point of slimming down is to save money.

Unless you use HMRC software I doubt it's actually going to be cost effective to pay for software which accountants generally buy and then learn to use it for just for one company.

Why not concentrate on getting some really good accurate records completed and get an accountant to complete/submit the accounts and tax return? You may also find you get some tax saving tips at the same time.
