In 2021 we introduced a leaderboard to UKBF.

Performing activity on the site (creating posts, receiving reactions, completing certain goals) earns you XP.

This XP racks up and at certain increments increases your overall account level.

Because this level can only be increased by actively participating on the site, it acts as an indicator of how involved you are in the site and a general measure of how popular your interactions have been. This should help members identify you as a prominent, trustworthy member of the community.

The "gamification" aspects of the site are something that we've had on the back burner for a while now, so for the time being the levels aren't featured prominently and aren't of great use at present. We're...

I’ve just had a look at my achievements and I’m yet to make 30 posts. I wouldn’t trust me.

You have achieved the "Message Poster: Contributor" achievement which requires you to make 30 posts.

The achievement can be earned an unlimited number of times, so you've achieved it 1348 times:

I've just looked - am at level 48.

I have it on very good authority that at level 50 Ozzy personally pays for an all-inclusive fortnight in the Seychelles
You may be wrong, according to ,y experience, unless he hasn't revealed the surprise to me yet!

Noticed Mark T Jones has a Blue Tick! I think that is accreditation. Hope it is more meaningful than all those Accounting Software accreditations and partners thingies that makes me laugh!

Wait, what?? There's a blue tick!! If only someone had announced it was coming... ??

It will become clear why this is important when the member directory is launch with comprehensive, searchable, members based on location and business sector, keywords, etc. People will be able to see if that business and associated member has been verified as real.
