What is Google Bot optimization

I have seen the term Google Bot Optimization on some forums. But I can not understand what it is? Is it different from normal search engine optimization or its the same? If something exists like this then I would like to know more about it. I need full information on this.

I don't really like the way the phrase is used, but it's probably more "crawl optimisation".

This tends to apply to larger sites where Google might have a problem crawling and digesting all the pages and so an SEO will need to review the log files and a few other things to see if the site has indexation issues, or running out of crawl budget. In simple terms, it's making sure all the parts of a site you want to be indexable are easy for Google to crawl without any issues, as I said it tends to be larger sites this sort of thing needs to be looked at more regularly.

If you look at a lot of big sites they quite often additional navigation systems that are only really there for search engines without being obviously so

Yeah, this is referring to optimising crawl paths through a website but it can affect smaller sites too. Even a 50 page website can get this wrong and prioritise the wrong content (non-money pages) for crawlers.

It's more a site structure issue that needs resolving than a "googlebot optimisation" activity.

Have you checked your Google Search Console now for mistakes ? What does it says ? Please let me know what it shows to you and what kind of mistakes you see here. I assume you know how to make your own site verified here to start that processes.
