What Free FTP client program for old XP PC

Hi the title says it all really, used to use Acebit Wise FTP (i have lost the unlock code, hence the question) Tried Filezilla but it nolonger works on XP. Don't need anything fancy.

Try WinSCP, if not CoreFTP - both appear to support XP from a brief search.

Are Acebit unable to track down your purchase and give you a new key?

you shouldnt need anything too special with xp it was solid and I think the above recommendations would work but if you are looking for an older client for some reason you can get the old versions of filezilla, I cant post a link yet as I am new so you will have to google old filezilla versions, they go back to something like 2006

Try LeechFTP. Old German program that worked for me for several years. Not been updated for many years, but worth downloading and giving it a go.

If I am honest I would look at moving away from direct FTP upload. I would recommend to implement some form of work flow into your website build. The reason I say this is because of work and issue tracking. You could upload something via FTP and an error code occur. Using a service such as deploybot will really help with this.
