What are the ways in which I can expand my company to UK ?

I run IT company called Alphanso Tech .We Provide custom software development that fits exactly business needs.

We have clients across USA and Australia. Now, I want to expand my business to UK.

What are the ways to expand my business to UK?

Suggestions welcome.

A good way of expanding a business is to use social media and digital marketing effectively.
Do you currently use social media to market your business?
I agree, social media is one of the best ways to advertise. Facebook can provide a large client base for any business. It just takes time and money to build up your reputation. What does your business specialise in? You may be able to use PPC advertising on Google, depending obviously is there is large demand for your service.

You may have timed your entry into the UK badly. There is a growing groundswell of anti-offshore sentiment in the UK software development community at the moment - which you'll have to overcome somehow.

Even for small developments we find that the client wants a face to face (more so than in previous years) which is awkward if you aren't UK based - unless of course you have a UK office?

If you want to make use of social media I would recommend LinkedIn - much more "decision maker" focused than twitter and facebook.

As mentioned above, outsourcing is tricky to make work here. You can directly advertise - I would go for Linked In, Facebook and Twitter and see what you get.

However, consider partnering with a UK based design firm, and pickup additional development work that way. They will be the UK based 'customer facing' side, which gives UK firms the reassurance of dealing with someone local, and you get straightforward development projects.

I think the 3 most important factors for your customers will be trust, communication, and quality of work.
To begin with, you should have a well-established presence in the UK. Set up a limited company (or just DM me) and get a full virtual office. A virtual office is going to cost you £50-£100 / month but you will benefit from London business address service with telephone answering. Also, make sure you have a good online presence (beautiful website + portfolio).
Since you are going to provide your customers with bespoke software development services, be very clear about how you deliver product increments and how you charge your customers.
Finally, look into indemnity insurance. I heard companies expect that these days.

You should be able to find your potential customers on LinkedIn. Just send some InMails to decision-making people :)
