Hello there, Never done this before. I want to be able to speak to financial advisor for future as I don't think I can decide for myself!
My question is what amount would it be worth speaking to an advisor, Say around 10K? 50K? 100K? or more? etc.
How do they operate and are there anything I should watch out for? Any recommendations?
Many thanks

Sorry, I completely disagree with @DontAsk

Any IFA will have an initial chat with you whether it's personal or business investments you are interested in. My IFA was happy to talk to me about my 18yo son's £26,000 savings even though I didn't use him in the end.

Preferably try and get an IFA recommendation from someone you know, but it doesn't matter really. Just make an appointment for an exploratory meeting - they won't charge you for that and they'll explain their fee structure.
