ok, thanks to some great advice from members on here, i am now going to post my weekly fixed fuel prices.

the format will be; our price vs national price and an example of savings

the national price may be more or less than your local garage and is based on petrolprices.com

so

uk national price
119.2ppl * 100ltr = £119.20

discount fuel price
115.7ppl * 100ltr = £115.7

i will post this every week for you

May help - considering fuel prices are set to soar through the roof again shortly.
Thankfully - looking at what you've put, we're still below average in my area 1.13.

Just out of interest...

Isn't TESCO cheaper than this if you use the 5p off per litre voucher you get with your food shopping?

Obviously to take advantage of that you have to live near a TESCO and consume food as well as petrol. But that's most of us these days!

How convenient are your cards to use, because every time someone seems to use a fuel card in the same queue as me it seems to take them a while to process (getting registration etc)? Are some easier than others?

they have a pin number. the shell card needs a signiture

Always seemed like the sensible way since chip and pin!

The w/comm 16/18/2010 95.91 + VAT = 112.695

is with a FuelPlus card. They have been more expensive than our local pump price until this week so we stopped using them and used our other cards either UKfuels or a Pump price Jet card or a Pump price Total Card.

And no this is not a Bunker price - it is available at all Morrisons sites and hundreds of others.

I would really like to have a card which regularly was 3 ppl lower than the Local pump price & I thought we had it in the ReD fuel card which we used continuously for over 12 months.

I think I may be moving over to HUSK as I do not like it when a card has Prospecting prices and then alters them 3 months down the line

Thanks for that info. Have you used the Fuelplus card for a while now? if so, is it normally this much lower than pump prices? How is the network coverage for this card? We've never used the HUSK card, what's their pricing and coverage like? We spend nearly £200k year on fuel, so a 3p/litre saving is a big amount to save.
