Does anyone have/know of a website with an embedded video on the home page. I'm looking for a corporate/plc type website where the video has been well.

:| Where the video has been well what? Well positioned, well imbedded?, streams well? Not quite sure what you mean.

One thing is for sure - make it a clip that a visitor has to click on to start - web sites with background music / voiceovers / auto activated video are well known as a major pain and put many people off of looking at the site.

The advantage is it gives anumber of options to link to another page when its finished - or not etc etc. I picked it up on ebay for a couple of £'s

A lot of the web apps have demos online, and they are often integrated nicely. Not the corporate sorts of companies though.

I have recently started a site, www.beadingfantastic.com and this plays videos from the home page.

Not sure if this is what you have in mind, I can laso have the videso play more in the home page as opposed to the sidebar.

WordPress has many plugin's to achive this and is a flash app. flv-embed is the name of it!
