Another site that starts 'About Us'.

I covered this in another review, basically, people don't care about you, they care about what problem you solve for them.

Basically, unless you are good at writing key marketing messages engage a copywriter.
You already have made a decision to use a pro web developer, take the nextstep and engage a pro copywriter.
