Hi all, I'm wanting some honest feedback on a website & business name a client has come to us with to build an ecommerce store.

The company at present specialise in supplying tablet pc's but are looking to expand their range in the future.

The current name is Tidai, the new proposed name is Cintamani.
Feedback on both would be great and suggestions are welcome

Thanks,

Mike

TBH it sounds lke an Italian deli! - plus, I can imagine he will spend a lot of time on the phone spelling it out to people who want to email, look at website etc.

Would that be on ice? ;)

Cintamani sounds more like an alcoholic drink than a supplier of tablet pc's! Or even a supplier of Italian menswear, imo.

Not sure if this suggestion is any better but how about Tabaas.co.uk - short for Tablet and Accessory Specialists. ?

I agree with the others here. The name's a bit off, as the wits pointed out, it sounds like the name of a U.S. state or that of the late Korean dictator's pooch.

But, here's the thing. If the new name is personal or has some personal significance to you, go for it. Any brand name can be marketed successfully if you do it right. Otherwise, just go for shorter, snappy, easy-to-remember names. :)
