Funny how all those that support Vidahost have affiliate codes .

I'd recommend any reputable small web host over the larger hosts as you'll get a better level of service. There are plenty of good ones out there.

Funny how all those that support Vidahost have affiliate codes

Whilst there are a couple of members here who post affiliate links, firstly I don't think that's entirely accurate and secondly it doesn't mean they're telling anything less than the truth

We don't, and never will, employ people to spam forums unlike some others so everyone who posts something positive will be a real client. Very ocassionally we catch people spamming in our name or spamming their affiliate links/cookies via underhand methods and close their affiliate account.

Another vote for Vidahost. Over the years we have used a number of hosts - most have turned out to be a bunch of s****. Not found anyone else who even comes close to Vidahost.

You never know, when you been going for a few years and have lots of happy customers these customers may be happy to recommend you and may even wish to be associated with your company by becoming an affiliate and thereby putting their reputation on the line with their customers!

Thanks Steve. We have and they already do, we're just not on here much. We're more present on the hosting specific communities, but I quite like it here so perhaps we'll get involved more.

Self-hosting has so many potential downsides, that unless it's just a test-site, or a picture of your cat that no-one will ever visit, the recommendation would be "Just don't".

I'm using xilo.net right now, everything going well no down-time and it is cheap cheap cheap.

Weebly have good hosting too
