Hi,

I am a freelance website developer and for all my work so far have acted as the website designer but i feel the skills of a freelance designers would greatly enhance my future projects.

I would prefer to work with a designer based in the southwest but would consider anyone who would like to put themselves forward.

Regards

Adam Curtis

you will be better off visiting the sit gaf
and putting your project there,
i do and they great
you type what you want and they all bid on it and tell you what can be done,
never let me down once and the costs are very low.
mind you i asked one programmer and he was in some country where wages was £40 a week and he was a proffesional,
as when you put your job in it is sent all round the world to people with the skills you need

cannot see how you can say that
gaf is a whole collection of professional people from all over the world
they bid on your project or job.

they have a rating and history you can look at to see how good they are
the money is held in excrow untill you are happy with the work
and when you have the site back then you remove the tempory password you gave to them to do the work.

just like any business or trade you get bad eggs
i have never had a problem with gaf and i use them a lot
having said that i found people that could not do the job and it was moved on to another gaf with the first moving off without a problem
ending up at end of day with the job i wanted being done
if not by the original gaf bid i accepted.

gaf for those not sure of term is "get a freelancer"

the $30 bid to some countrys is a whole weeks work,
gaf goes out to many countrys so that is not a fair comment on the gaf network
in fact in one job i had done the gaf was quite worried that i would pay all of the $30 of the money and wanted i think it was $4 upfront after he done a bit, he talked of the $30 like it was a lot of money
ie here its £15 ie couple hours work ,to him it was a lot as they were paid less than that for a whole weeks work sadly i was amused at it as the job was worth far more than i paid and that he had bid,to be fair on myself i did give him a tip lol
so everything is relative
