Would be really grateful if anyone could pass any constructive criticism on a design I've managed to knock up whilst being snowed in this morning for a client! Would be nice for any opinions before I start coding it up.
Err, the design is the code. All you have done is put a layout together.
Would it not be better to put a waireframe together to test the content and navigation then generate the CSS to fix the layout. The fact that you have use loriet ipsum for the homepage sort of indicates that the content hasn't been written yet so how do you know that this is the best layout?
Design = content, navigation, usability, accessibility, SEO/SEM, user testing and finally the actual layout. In fact it should be the very last thing you do.
