Hi all

received a email from popularwebsiteawards.com

they mention we have been nominated for an award for our business as we continue to excel and grow and deserve praise and recognition for their achievements.

This is all a bit random... Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this at all and if its all 'legit' and not a spam email?

any help and advice appreciated!

thanks!

On top of having to pay $25 if your the winner, the site description via google says:
PWA stands for Popular Website Awards, a widely recognised internet award program and inspirational portal, that identifies the pioneers on the internet.

Don't know how they managed to get that widely recognized since the domain name was only created on 03-08-2012 so not even two months old yet.

Seems to look untrustworthy IMHO, plus anyone notice that they awarded themselves as a winner too even though the site is terrible looking, wonder if they had to pay the $25 fee LOL.
