Hi everyone,

I wandered if anybody could recommend some technology.

I am looking for some technology where we can can mix some slides, audio and video as required along with a moderated chat window. These would be put together in advance and run on demand - and ideally sometimes, only at a certain time (to ensure everyone is in chat at the same time).

I looked at a variety of flash based solutions a while ago, some with some nice UIs for non-techies to put the webcasts together. I can't remember a single name of any though!

Flash would be okay, but I'd consider any particularly good service that requires some proprietary install before hand.

Does anyone here sell/resell anything like this or can anyone recommend something they have used either for their own customer facing webcasts or even an elearning solution that might also be appropriate.

My company uses Webex and i'd give it the thumbs up. Very flexible and has extensive features inc. open chat, chat restricted to the presenter, screen sharing, ability to break out into smaller groups for group work during a session. You can also tie in a telephone conference line.

cool. thanks mate. I think im leaning more towards a kind of multimedia production / e-learning type of product at the moment. i think ill get a few adobe resellers and the like to pitch me and see what seems best....

surprised no one on the forum has an offering they'd like to pitch
