I am looking for webdesigners who want to be part of a new fundraising website. I need a webdesigner who would be willing to produce the site for free or for a low cost. I belive my idea is very interesting and would generate alot of press, both local and national.

In exchange for your work you would be creditited on the website and hopefully in various newspaper articles.

Any one interested in the project can you send me a message with a link to your porfolio of work.

Thank You

Tony

Hi Tony,

We would be interested in this, I have sent you a PM.

Regards,
Clark

Don't hold your breath waiting for a reply, I sent a PM immediately he posted, and it has been ignored.

Damned annoying when people ask for a favour, they get offers (in my case design and SEO for free), then decide to ignore them :(

I entirely agree OWG.....

And when you do the favour, send a heap of information as requested, to an email address, then never even get a response....

Dont know why we bother.

I often adjust my prices for charity work, but I've learned that free favours don't help. I was asked to upload a logo to someones website once, and i did for free.

Anyway, a week later her site was compromised and trashed, and I got a very angry phone call at 10 o clock at night accusing me and threatening legal action.

My offer of help is withdrawn. With respect Tony, Pm'ed you immediately you posted and while you were still online. You asked for help, and now it turns out that you hadn't researched it at all.

I wish you well in your endeavours, but unfortunately I will not be involved.

The first step towards starting a business is writing a business plan. Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to think that the first step is building a website and are quite happy to waste a web designers time in doing so.
