I have been using a logitech C270 webcam with my PC, for zoom meetings, etc. The picture has now started to flicker, so I| think it is time to get a new one. Any recommendations, please?

It's most likely not faulty, check the settings first:

    1. Download and install the Logi Tune Desktop software.
    2. Connect the Logitech webcam to the computer.
    3. Open Logi Tune.
    4. Click My Devices.
    5. Click the desired webcam.
    6. Click the Settings tab.
    7. Select Anti-flicker.
    8. Toggle the setting to use the other refresh, either NTSC 60Hz or PAL 50Hz.
    9. Click Save.

Do you have any software that came with it where you can access the settings? You're looking to try different refresh rates

Flatly refuse to do zoom, or teams, or any of that nonsense.

You wanna talk to me, call me!
A mate of mine has just taken on a new job that he believed was visiting customers face to face with occasional zoom meetings. Whilst the idea of greater productivity - no travelling time etc., is a definite plus, he's effectively unavailable for any other normal interaction whilst locked into around 4-5 hours a day staring at a webcam as emails, texts etc., build up! Ask him what he does most days and he'll tell you 'I call people back'..?

As opposed to being locked into driving a car and having face to face meetings?

During the height of the space race in the 1960s, legend has it, NASA scientists realized that pens could not function in space. They needed to figure out another way for the astronauts to write things down. So they spent years and millions of taxpayer dollars to develop a pen that could put ink to paper without gravity. But their crafty Soviet counterparts, so the story goes, simply handed their cosmonauts pencils.

Just need the write tool for the job.

NASA didnt spend millions developing a space pen, one was developed by someone else:

I'm not familiar with the protocols around Zoom meetings but in the car he can answer his phone. In a face to face meeting he can ask for a break to take an urgent call.
There is no reason he can't do that on zoom. Although answering the phone while driving is dangerous and breaking any meeting to take an 'urgent call' would end my relationship with them.

This guys role is to leverage funds from government pots into community organisations. The relationship you would end is one where 'your' organisations survival could rely on the work he does for them.
