Hi CJ

I think you will need to budget between £500 & 1k depending on your exact requirements and how much creative work you need doing etc.

I know that Phil at (Openmind) and Paul at (A Web Apart) and Dave at (Quickshop) all have turnkey solutions you could use. If you need something more custom there are loads of developered on here, myself, Dave (interconnect it) DotNetWebs, CactusShop......etc

HTH's

thanks

£500-1k seems logical price, considering one would have to pick up the site in its current state and familiarise oneself with the current setup before advising and trying to implement better hosting where necessary and then getting to the bottom of your code however messy or complicated it may be.

Ooooh poop is all I can say to that right now! :p
Not aimed at you personally just the money!

Hi CJ

There will be designers/developers on here that can it for less than that. It would help to know a region for your budget so that people can tell what is and isnt achievable.

I know it seems high but say its 4-5 days work to get it how you want it thats only 100 per day on the low end of the budget which is just a smidgen over 10 per hour which isnt like what your plumber would charge :)

The fact that the website is your business means that it needs to be done right as well.

So confused.

I'm going to hang fire with the overhaul of the website, as I have some one looking into this for me so I know what i'm doing and what actually can be done.

My budget where my website concerned has already been spent on the site I have and due to advertising that did not work well in the last few months I dont have a great deal of money for anything else.

Very frustrating.

But ... thank you all for your advice and prices.
