how do you create a easy search engine for your site?

how do you create a simple form?

i have dreamweaver mx 2004 software

question if you are a web designer

do you find it easy to get clients & are most of your clients local to your area?

Start with the source http://www.php.net/
Then do a search. There are lots of resources on the net.
My favorite site for learning PHP though is http://www.sitepoint.com/ and I bought their books on php+mysql. Recommended.

Try to avoid needing seach in the first place. If your site is well structured, it may not need search. Otherwise, you are into the human interface area which is a bit of an art form. There are some php scripts though and you can always fall back to google or atomz (if you need good, free/cheap, and do not mind ads).

Er. for what? This is basic html rather than php. See source code of comment page of just about any site to see examples you like.
