Not a single sacking.
But what does get you sacked?

Calling for a ceasefire.


Utterly disgusting. I hope the demonstrations and protests get so big that they have to abandon Remembrance Day this year. It could really kick off!

Starmer is most concerned to shake off any taint of antisemitism from the Corbyn era.
Under that suave virtue signalling exterior he is a ruthless politician coldly and dispassionately plotting for power, make no mistake about him. Not that I'm blaming him in that regard, they're all pretty much the same, particularly Tories (and since Covid I am now a Tory ! ).

I don't actually think Corbyn was/is antisemitic anyway, he's just anti Israel (in its dealings with the Palestinians), which is a very different thing.

And that is the trouble - currently being anti israel is conflated with antisemetism and everyone is trying desperately not to be labelled as such as once you have been it is hard to shrug off.

I can see this escalating as I think the hardline Israeli govt are more interested in being seen to do something (so as to not admit their prior assertions of impregnability were well off) and have no idea what "victory" actually looks like.

A levelled strip of semi desert containing most of it's previous 2m populace but no infrastructure will just perpetuate the problem for them and anything beyond that is genocide/ethnic cleansing by any measure you care to pick

That is very different from saying they they are attempting genocide - if you read what i wrote i even said GOING BEYOND totally levelling gaza would get into genocide

Read what is written NOT what you defensively think may have been written - you rather proved the point that any criticism of the Israeli govt actions is instantly branded antisemitic.

What do you think the plan is for Gaza when they have shot/dealt with anyone who is Hamas (or one of it's other affiliated terrorist organisations) ?
