warm heat 300 rebate does this include VAT

The Warm Heat discount rebate voucher scheme, when claiming the voucher does the three hundred pounds include vat or not. need to enter it onto sage not sure if its a t1 ot t0. I am aware that when the invoice is given to the customer the discount is given with 5% vat in the discount of three hundred pounds. Hope this makes sense.
