Hi everyone,
I am a graphic designer hoping to sell my prints - I'm looking for a printing company who will both print and post to the customer using their white label service. I'm really struggling to find what I need on google, I've been searching over the past couple of days. All I can see is posters and marketing materials. Any guidance would be much appreciated! Thank you

1. Try telephoning them!

2. I would have thought that buying a UltraChrome K3 from Epson or a LUCIA from Canon and a set of pigment-based inks and some giclée paper such as Hahnemuhle Photorag would make more sense, as a printer will expect to be paid for offering a 'white-label' service.

Really depends on what exact style of wall art you are hoping to offer? There are many options but all would depend on materials and finish you require. White label will bump it up somewhat as well but there are many different printers out there that could offer this.

You can search for an online printing house. You order the poster at the printing house and they send the print directly to the customer. At the indicated address. The customer pays primarily for your graphics design (not print).

A very casual question but there seem to be some people here that know about this type of area

If I wanted to be able to print about 50 prints overnight - what type of printer might do that job

And is there a trade fair where I can go and look at these things

You can get water based/Pigment printers, Epson/Canon two brands off the top of my head. We run Solvent machines (Roland, Mimaki, OKI) but mainly because we need more durable print.

Where to see some machines, Sign & Digital show, Sign Link show (very soon), the print show.

Yes 3 shows:

http://signlinklive.co.uk

https://www.signuk.com

http://theprintshow.co.uk

Signlink is coming soon, and I think is it's first years, but from lots of e-mails I've been getting most of the main suppliers are there.

Sign UK is OK, although IMHO it's gotten smaller over the years.

Never been to the print show, but might be overkill, as it'll have all kinds of print machines there.

Most suppliers ship media on a next day service, so there's not much need to carry too much stock. There are deals to be done at trade shows, but deals can be negotiated after the show too ;-)

So is that the sort of service you could offer me

I was thinking I might have to buy in house technology but I am not in hurry to if I can have an order at a print firm for repeat prints and then have it turning up the following day after

So order Monday 5pm - with me Wed

Yes & No. We do provide a 'trade' service, white label, for a few customers. Our snag is the 'next day' service.

It's mainly B2B, and commercial work, we undertake. We can be running 100's of meters of banners like last week, or out all day installing signage. Smaller jobs can sometimes be a hinderance when you're busy. Great when you're quiet.

Large print houses will gang all the posters up together, your poster will be run along with everyone else's, the bulk reduces the costs. Where we'd probably need to set up the machine for a 1 off.

It may be quicker & cheaper if you could order a small quantity of each poster in, and you post them out?
