Voucher Cloud

Do any of the rest of you use Voucher Cloud for your business? I use it a lot to get discounts and deals in my personal life. I know a couple of people that use it as a business and it seems to send quite a bit of traffic their way

any thoughts?

Ive heard of it, and think maybe even visited the site, but never purchased.
So many people are developing these "groupon" style sites nowadays.

Personally i think Groupon would be the one i would buy from, just brand awareness and trust.

As a business looking to sell on there.... i dont know how the rates differ from other sites

Have you seen Gropons fees, they take a % the sale and a fee i think. The plumbers and gas engineers on another forum have had this discussion. I might use them as a launch but not as part of my main marketing plan.

From what I understand Vouchercloud is nothing like Groupon.

The vouchers are free to download, they don't sell vouchers like groupon.

they just charge a membership fee to use the platform for the whole year. no commission etc.

Groupon want far too much in commission for my liking and want me to discount my product too much.

I will now look into voucher cloud, I looked into groupon but they want upto 50% and that is way to much. especially when I want to offer money off a boiler install. I would not even cover the cost of the boiler never mind the copper.

Was on the phone to Vouchercloud yesterday, their sister company is Dealcloud and that is run like Groupon.

Vouchercloud themselves claim 3M people are subscribed to their service and receive newsletters.

I've used them personally for restaurant deals as I have the app on my phone but not sure if they'll be good for online businesses although they have apparently Amazon as a client.

It almost seems like a No-Brainer but just wanted some opinion?

Follow up call...they are rubbish for marketing, although they reduced their rate to £199 + VAT for me as I'm ecommerce and don't need the phone APP, this doesn't include their newsletter.

So the only way they get business from me is if someone already knows my business and specifially searches for it on their site!

In order to be included in their daily newsletter it's £500 for top 5 results and £160 for top 15 per newsletter!
