Virtual address required

What do you classify as "really good" for a virtual address? There's generally little room for improvement once the core service is being delivered!

Do you need general mail forwarded or only HMRC / Companies House mail?

Cheap Accounting have a Registered Office service at £49.99+VAT per year. I have used this for years without a problem and they've recently started providing an optional, no extra cost, scan and email service which is nice. They're very easy going - I've never received a complaint about the odd general post going there (usually because a supplier has assumed the registered office to be my correspondence address). The address itself isn't prestigious but does the job; registered office addresses aren't designed to pretend your business is located elsewhere.

Really good, or cheap. Pick one.

Not sure that's quite true in this particular case. Depending on what one considers to be "cheap" of course! Registered office services are often offered a low cost or free as an add-on to accounting services.

OP - you should also ask your accountant if they offer this service.

Hey @Nick Garnett

A virtual office is always a great way to give your website/business that 'Professional' edge in a cost-effective way.

There are quite a few services around! In a lot of the cases, price is dependant on the postcode the virtual office is in. So, before going ahead with a virtual office, you'll have to ask yourself:

- Do I really need one?
- Am I looking to sell UK-wide or area specific?
- If area-specific, do I want my virtual office local to that area in order to give a "local business feel"?
- If UK-wide, do I want to pay a little extra to have my virtual office in central London, Edinburgh, Cardiff etc? Or am I willing to go with something smaller?
- Do I plan to be in this for the long run or am I just testing the waters? (as the longer the contract the cheaper it works out month-on-month)

Like @HugoWelsh, I'm a little off 30! :) But once you've answered all those questions, there's a few I'm aware that you could Google, including:

> regus.co.uk
> yourvirtualofficelondon.co.uk
> registeredaddress.co.uk

Let us know how you get on! :)
