Video to DVD help

I've got a business video, well a few actually and i want to burn them onto a DVD and send them to potential customers.
Thinking i could probably do this myself but if you know someone who could easily do it for me then please let me know.
Questions i have are
what would be the best DVD to burn to? i know there are plus and minus and many makes, some work better than others if i remember rightly so whats the best brand to go for
Also what would be the best software (free if possible) to help burn the videos to disc and then set up a menu ready for potential customers to click on the video they want to watch?
Thanks in advance

Apologies Scalloway, i meant i had some downloaded video on my computer and wanted to burn them onto a dvd and then set up a menu on the dvd so when customers load the dvd, it gives them the option with a visual icon to click which video they decide to watch, its the menu builder software i am more interested in. thanks.

Check to make sure you don't already have DVD creating software on your computer. Sometimes software from companies like Nero or Roxio comes included with the DVD drive.
Alternatively, I've heard good things about Easy DVD Creator - although I haven't used it myself so usual caveats apply. There is a free version available via Cnet.

Burning DVDs yourself on your own computer can be a right PITA and doesn't look very professional. If you do a search in Google for "DVD duplication" you'll find lots places that do this - including printing a label and putting it in a sleeve. Prices vary, but you're generally looking at about £2-3 +VAT for a run of 50 disks.
