Victorian plumbing?

Just seen an advert for the above.

Going by their Web Site, they're a seperate company to Victoria Plumb.

Close resemblance, no? Just sayin'.

Although according to the VictoriaN PlumbING Web Site, they were established in '94.

I expect they oly sell high level cisterns with a pull chain, lead piping and outside privvies.

Oddly enough people are buying cottages that have modern plumbing and are spending a lot of money trying to restore originality and re-instate the original Victorian plumbing

Aye but using hot water to flush the toilet was a problem we had to address.

As a plumber, can I just say I have no idea why people would want to restore victorian plumbing. There's a reason why plumbing changed over the years and it's for the better! Simpler systems that are more efficient and conservant of water and electricity.
