vBulletin or Phpbb forum software?

The title says it all really!

Not really as cost might be a factor, but oh well. lol :p

I've used vBulletin, phpBB, SMF, proboards, invisionboard.. probably the lot actually. lol. vBulletin was very good but I hated how they changed the pricing structure and how it affected their community/userbase.

phpBB v2 was excellent and then became a spammers paradise. That's basically which led me onto SMF, and then onto vBulletin. When phpBB 3 came out though I moved back onto that. So far, for me, it seems like the best solution. It's free, powerful, user friendly and has good support.

What more do you need?
