Can anyone inform me about VAT reverse charges?

Basically I use Stripe for card payments and they issue a monthly statement that shows Fees and it has there VAT number and my vat number online but vat always shows zero.

At the top of the statement it says "VAT reverse Charge Applies"

Any help on how to claim anything, or is there no VAT ?

You need to account for VAT on what they’ve charged you yourself using the reverse charge mechanism.

What this means in effect is that you report the purchase on your VAT return as if you’d both supplied and purchased it yourself. So you include the cost in the box for sales and purchases and the UK equivalent VAT in the input and output VAT boxes.

See the reverse section in the above doc.

This applies to any purchases of services made from suppliers outside the UK where the place of supply is in the UK.
