I've not been able to find any explicit information relating to this question from HMRC and I can't believe we're the only business doing this out there.

We buy good from one country (EU or EC) and sell them to another company who maybe be a UK company but the nature of the business means that they don't actually bring them into the UK and sell them to another country, essentially like brokers.

Ordinarily you would charge VAT to another UK company if the goods were in the UK but if they never touch UK soild can they be sold tax free? So whilst the transaction is taking place between to UK entities the actual goods are being transacted in the "ether".

Are we able to do this tax free and what proof should we provide to support this?
