VAT flat rate scheme - quick question

Hi I am thinking of using the flat rate VAT scheme as I run a cleaning business so therefore can't claim much back.

Heres the question............ Am i right in assuming that as i am VAT registered i have to charge every customer VAT?? as i have read that i don't charge VAT to my non VAT registered customers? I can't see this myself but would like to here your comments.

Where did you read that?

Yes, you have to charge VAT on all your sales.
