When you say ''buy'' do you mean you want a HP agreement i.e. you own at the end. Do you want a finance lease with a baloon payment at the end so you can own or do you want a contract hire where you give it back after a set amount of time?

What we are finding more and more is vehicle rental is more favorable i.e. a van that can still have your livery, racking, towbar, roof rack etc etc for a set rate per week. This includes all maintenance and can include insurance.

We offer all and so if yu think we could help by all means mail us and sure we can find a solution for you

It's a LTD VAT registered business and it would be a new van
thanks
well it would be best to get it as a company asset then. you can offset the depreciation and save on tax.
and as the other guy said, there;s many ways to fiance a van, i;d say evenly spread payments are best, but leasing is an option if it suits your needs, and if the van will be driven by many members of staff then an automatic transmition may be best as most people drive works vans like raceboys and are heavy with clutch and gears ect, autos are self contained...

We only rent our vans on flexible terms.

I have done the calculations down the years and if you take for an example an extra Long wheel base sprinter. This van no matter what will cost you £600 a month before fuel and insurance.

If you finance on a low rate your monthly payments are low but your maintance bills are added on as you hit year two the cost start to go up. big repairs on a big van quite often hits 2K.

If you go to the acution and buy an old shed this will be mostly dry stored as it will spend most of the week in the workshop so you will be spending big.

To rent a nice shinny new sprinter you are looking at £500 a month all in.IF you want a smaller van then its going to be a lot cheaper.

As our requirments change we can swap the vehicle for a more suitable one .In the past we were just stuck with a van that had done starship miles and had lost a lot of money .

All this and I have not answered your question :Dbut the others have done that So maybe you might want to consider renting

Agree 100%, as i said the rental model has really come into its own as all look to increase utilisation and hence the cost is far more competitive
