Van Leasing Problems

Hi All,

Last year we needed an additional van and leased a new Citroen to add to our fleet.

Since we've received it we've had no end of issue with it. Citroen refused to repair a fault as it was intermittent and it ended up breaking down, it then went to the dealer for TWO WEEKS. They replaced the battery as the one factory fitted is under powered for the van (look it up) and the original problem is still there. It's been back several times over its short life and then yesterday being quite warm I decided to turn the air con on for the first time, but that didn't work either.

I've had enough of it. What are my options?

So, an update for you as this was an old post.

It wen't back to the dealer. Who had it for 9 weeks whilst they awaited a part. It then came back to us and two days later broke down again, it then went back for another two weeks.

We got it back about a month ago and it's been fine since, touch wood.

In total it has cost citroen nearly £4000 in van hire and I've saved over 8,000 miles off my own van!

I did open a complaint with the finance company and told them I wanted to back it, but they've done naff all!
