Van Hire... recommendations?

So have a load of filming projects coming up and will need to cart a load of stuff and people around the country. The country bit is tricky because will need a van. Someone mentioned the cheapest van hire possible... something about registering as a company with a hire business.

What options are available?

I would not worry about all that agro Paul

Enterprise have some very good deals on spot hire vans at the moment put it in their insurance and pay for the excess windows tyres and bodywork and you wont have nothing to worry about
Cheap hire usually means problems when there are problems

We moved house recently. I have a VW Transporter LWB, a VW Caddy and the wife has a Mini (BMW version, so ugly). But we needed something for the big stuff! Enterprise Luton Van £70.00 for 24 hours - I would say that is exceptional value!

Think about backup, if he van breaks down 200 miles from home, is the company supplying the van big enough to quickly get you a replacement as no doubt you have a fairly tight schedule. Big maybe a bit ore expensive but they also tend to have local depots spread around the country

Any need for a 53yr old trainee for a day? I'm interested in video production and buying myself a FX3 but looking to tag along on some shoots to get some experience first. Not looking at big league filming, just you tube content/docs.
