I tried to sell a projector on £1000 projector on ebay for £600 no one take, I was gobbed smacked. So I got thinking about setting up trading site for Social enterprises, schools and charities.

Does anyone know of one already?

I know 2 blue chip companies with excess stock what better outlet and positive PR than selling stock at cost price or even as a donation in exchange for something.
I can do the techie web stuff.

And if anyone is interest I still have the projector.

If they charity stuff they can get tax relief on it too!

If it was £1000 inc VAT and you are selling for £600 with no vat reclaimable then it's not an attractive deal for a company that might want one. Also with a new product you have some comeback if it falls over after a month but not with yours. In addition I understand with projectors a major expense is the bulb so unless there is an hour monitor on it that says not much use then that's another risk...

Errr the projector has a 3 year manufacturer warranty and there is a spare bulb.

My reserve price was £400
