Using Email Addresses

Hello All,
I am after some advice about the legality of contacting people whose emails appear on their websites - a form of 'cold calling' I suppose. We all get spam, I know, but if I send an individual email to an individual address, is this regarded as spam/illegal?

Not sure if it's legally spam, but this is what I do with such mails - I instruct my mail program to classify them as spam. I may bounce them back to the sender as undeliverable, and will certainly delete them with a vow not to use that company.

I'd be very careful about harvesting e-mail addresses - spam is the biggest annoyance for many businesses. Dealing with unsolicited and unwanted mail is time-consuming and infuriating.

I would count this as spam. There are plenty of opt-in lists available. Try http://www.htmail.com/[email protected]
