Useful file sharing site!

Not sure how old it is, but I have discovered sendoid.com this weekend, and its brilliant, and very useful. In seconds you can transfer files to other computers, as it opens a direct link rather than via there servers.

Thanks for telling us another useful sharing app. I actually did not know such app exists. I have always been using 4shared just to share some of my files to my peers. It's kind of difficult to share big files on 4shared since you have to upload first the files, once uploaded, it could be downloaded by any of your peers. Sometimes, it takes 20 minutes even with a faster internet connection. Is there a 100% assurance that senoid can share big files in just 5 minutes?

To add to the topic, which file sharing websites/applications are available to share files between two remote people (or more) without having to send files individually? We have an external hard drive which I'd like to be made available to set users through registration set by the Administrator (while being secure) much like a server but without the internal network restraints.

The user can login and see the files in real time with the same hierarchy as the external hard drive, and once the user has opened, edited and saved (or printed from) the file, the modified file is updated on my end. Does such a service exist outside a local network?
