Hi All

i am looking to put some of my client logos on our website, to detail some of the customers we work with.

couple of questions would appreciate your thoughts on

1. whilst i know these logos would are copyrighted (possibly trademarked), is it essential that i get all their permission to use their logos. I don't think our services are sensitive that they would not want to be associated.

2. do you think the use of these company logos is likely to lead to competitors actively trying to "poach" these customers (suppose depends on the size of the company how easy it would be to identify the contacts within the organisation)

Would be interested to hear from companies that have done similar and how they went about it and if there has been any negative feedback from your customers

thanks in advance

You will need to get your clients permission because of copyright/trademark issues and because having their brands on your site will imply recommendation of your brand/service.

Big name brands in particular are quite sensitive about this, as their brands hold huge value.

Just ask whoever your contact is if they would be happy for you to do this and make sure you have confirmation in writing.
