USB Drives

    Hi folks,

    A couple of questions for you today.

    1) Has anyone used branded USB Flash drives as a marketing tool and if so, was it beneficial/well recieved?

    2) What size drive would you recommend as being useful? (I've never used them myself)

    3) Can anyone here supply a quotation?

    These seem a bit cliched at first but they do a decent job.

    Size wise I think 512mb is fine as a minimum but the biggest aspect is how tactile it is. You want something ultra tactile and apple-esque because, even if it is not used for its function, it will still be kept & played with. And each time it is played with your brand is seen.

    Hi,

    512M seems a little small.We now all buy 2G or biggger.

    The nand flash price go down deeply.The price for 2G is only USD4.59

    Personally i think it is worth doing, on my own house keys i have a usb stick from my finacee's fathers company and i use it daily. And obviously any time i use it i see a big 'VC Electronics' logo....now should i ever need any of the products they provide where am i likely to go first? hunting for a company or get in touch with a company that i have seen the logo of every day?

    I used it for the previous company i worked with.

    The campaign aim was to generate general awareness of the program. We followed telemarketing asking people if they were interested and would like to order an information pack.

    The USB was only 256kb, really small but enough to contain the information documents.

    People were really interested and it proved exceptionally successful. I've also received tendor documents via 1gb USBs from companies, and it's a great classy touch.

    Right company logo that looks like black electrical tape, all bases covered :)

    What would be quite nice is a read only sector ( well write once ) to put some some files on for advertisements, then the rest for the recipients files.

    That could work quite well.

    this is quite straight forward. We'd have two drives created and partioned, one which has non erasable data and the other which would be a standard drive to save files onto.

    512MB,1GB,2GB,4GB,8GB, and 16GB all can be bought on current market.
    The size depends on what's sort you are interest in,as you know there are simple type,leather type,multi-functions type,cute type ,pen type and so on.

    It is important that memory flash must be brand of SamSung,SLC is smart
