US made tee shirts

Hi i am looking to purchase US made tee shirts and import them in the UK where they will get screen printed.

Since they printed here which will be the final product , will the label still has to show made in US or will be UK?

To answer to your question is that would like to compare tee shirts of other suppliers made in Turkey , China, ........etc.
When i mean compare is material , how they made, and very important how they hold after a few washes.
I want to give my customers a better product even if costs me more like import duties.

You don't have to put any label on any garment except maybe the size and washing instructions.

Quality is very hard to prove, perceived quality may be easier

If you pay the money you can get the best quality t-shirts made for you in just about every country in the world including England

The big thing with T-Shirts is that many outside the industry see the shop price of around £25.00 or more and thing they ca easily sell into that market, but in reality the shop is buying in between £2 and £4 and the rest is the shops mark-up, Look at eBay to see realistic prices from independent sellers

Yes you are right there , these that i buy is from the blanks tees manufacturers and yes some they start in the low range , like £1-3 you get what you pay for thats why would like to compare the quality.
On the other hand to manufacture here is expensive and the minimum quantity is high per color, style,size.
Would be a bit of a gamble to start bespoke production

"Made In XXXX" labels are not legally required.

My advice to order samples to see if they print/embroider/wash correctly.

The correct washing instructions are paramount and it's important they are followed correctly.

If it's a small quantity you are looking for, then buying from UK is your best option.

There are many importers/stockists of plain USA made t shirts available to buy in the UK.

Thanks for your reply , yes i do have accounts with the UK Suppliers however , would like to try something different than AA , this is a US manufacturer of blank tees.
And thanks for your advice will order a few samples of one each so to see how they hold.
