UPGRADING forum

Hi,

I have a forum, small but soon to be large, not a rival by the way

It is on simple machines and I want to make it look like this one...

How much work would this be for a web designer?

Hello Beasty,

My understanding is that it's built on XenForo, meaning you're looking at a PHP developer, possibly with Zend Studio experience, which is fairly common. @ryedale might be able to offer more in-depth advice on how to properly implement it, the price depending on the degree of tailoring needed and what hosting you want for it.

Give me a fiver, ... lol

What is the DO NOT CLICK link in your forum all about?

I haven't been on this forum for long but you always seemed like a nice guy. Beasty is just asking for advice, why react like that?

Depends on what you want to do:

- New theme for the current forum - £xxx to £xxxxx
- Move to new platform - £xxxx - £xxxxxx

Skinning SMF is actually pretty easy (used to do it a while ago) but it does take a long time due to the number of files.

If you can give a better idea on the type of work people can give a better idea on costs.

Yup signature was just me seeing if people clicked or not.. really an experiment, btw I love mind games, read all big fan of Derren Brown, read his books, learned them, taken notes and applied the techniques.

Just really for my own curiosity seeing how people reacted to DO NOT do this and then posting THIS:eek: link http://transferwise.evyy.net/c/82271/56900/985

You are all my Guinea pigs, mwahahha
