UKWDA have had a revamp and launched some premium features as part of it - I wondered whether any web designers on here use their premium features and your thoughts on their service?

UKWDA is purposeless, you pay a small fee and you can shout "I'M A PRO" on your website. It's purposeless and useless. In fact, kind of misleading.
This is how professional bodies should be maintained: http://sodaspeaks.com/ - that's in it's more extreme form I admit, but you get the picture?
Unless a professional body has tangible entry requirements and process, then it's worthless. My mother could be a member of UKWDA.
Bodies like SODA mean something as there are entry requirements; stringent ones in that case. You get SODA membership and you can put a badge on your site with pride.
If you just pay a few quid/month and there you go, then it's pretty worthless.
UKWDA has been pointless for years - we needed some local designers at one point in a specific county, where the client wanted to talk through the site creation with someone local.
Went through the first 20 or so, ISTR only about 4 still existed/had websites, and they were all crap.
