    Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for soem feedback on what you would like to see in the UKBF newsletter.

Are you happy with the current spread of articles from different people?
Would you like to see some links to some hot topics currently being discussed on the forums?
Would you like to see some hints about using the forums?
Are you happy that it is a combined QFL and UKBF newsletter, now it has been running as a joint newsletter for a while?

    Any other comments?
    Cheers
    Richard

    Hi Rich

I am amazed at the wealth of information on this forum and that people with a wealth of knowledge pitch in to help so readily. It's a great forum.

OK get's tongue out of bum.

How about rotating various members with an area of specialism who can point out the highlights from each section of the forum. I read a lot whilst working but still find myself discovering excellent little snippets here and there. Or conversely it would be useful flag topics in the user panel.

I agree. That would be great. I would certainly be willing to contribute the odd article on IT matters.

    Ozzy,

To me, the newsletter has become quite divorced from the forums. Whereas you used to include links to some message threads in the newsletter, you now include prepared articles - and I don't recognise many authors as forum users. While I'm not saying it's good or bad, the forums and the newsletter come across to me now as separate entities.

I have become aware of this as the forums are becoming larger they dont need QFL referrals to keep them going any more, which was part of the reason why I merged the two newsletters (plus it meant I didn't need to write two separate newsletters each month).
I am toying with the benefit of keeping them combined, making them more UKBF orientated and still keep them together - to encourage more of the 10,000 QFL subscribers to join in.
