I found it easy on google play store. Just search "ukbf" and it should come up.

We're having a bit of trouble with our app developer account at the moment - should be sorted soon and I'll post up the link to the app. We're also waiting on an update to address some of the crashing issues that people have been reporting

Henry one thing I have found a bit annoying.

When you unsubscribe from a thread in the forums it doesn't unsubscribe on your mobile.

Also when you go to subscribed threads on your mobile it doesn't seem to show up threads from the paid members section or from time out.

Hmm, that could be due to the way that TO and Full Member areas aren't indexed in the same way on UKBf (so they don't turn up in searches on the site) but I can see how that'd be irritating if you're after a quick overview. The app isn't developed in-house and there are a few compatibility quirks as a result of the version of vB that we're running but I'll see what I can find out that may help.

Its not a major issue at all Henry. It would be if the paid section was busier (which I wish it was because the content is far better in there).

I've got the app on my Android Tables and Iphone, but I can't log in on either

I'm guessing it's because of the & in my username?

Any other Ideas?

That's a new one to us - is it just saying your username / password aren't recognised?

I'm just getting the error and the X/5 attempts made to log in.

It's definitely the right username and password I am entering.

I've just tried it with a test account at this end as well and you're right - it's the & that's not being recognised. Sorry for the inconvenience - I've raised it with the app's developers who can hopefully help us out

For a quick fix I'm happy if you want to change the username to remove the &.

Oddly it looks like it's just the & character that's causing problems. It if helps while we wait for the error to be fixed, I can change it to a "+" for you (or anything else you'd like ) so that you can log in. Let me know what works best for you and I'll sort it ASAP.

I would not bother. The Andriod App crashes every time I use it.

No worries - if you (or anyone else) wants to send us info about crashes (i.e. if it's a problem you can replicate / if it crashes when you're doing something specific etc.), we pass them on to the developers who work to resolve them all Just drop me a PM or email us at [email protected]

Works fine on my 3 htc's so probably a setting on your phone.

I run a htc descire (2.2), wildfire S (2.3) and a one SV (4.0) and no issues with the app apart from few bugs here and there.

1) Crashed when viewing messages - might be because I have a few thousand in my box
2) Reporting is a pain as it in a "more" sub menu and adds it's down text (it's a spam) so when reporting that's not spam, you need to delete the message and start again
3) user signatures aren't shown at all (not even a setting)

I am wondeeing if the app....Adfree is the culprit. Will soon know qhenI exit this message as every other time it crashes.

Ok. It seems that Adfree is the culprit but why? Don't have this problem with other apps. The program still exits after one press of the back button though instead of going one page back in the app

Ok. Forget the above! Just sent Henry a pm and it locked up and needed a hard reset. Adfree was not installed at the time.

ad removal plugins can be a right royal pain, as it's trying to change the state of the website.

The mobile apps for UKBF have no adverts so it's not needed anyway

I get that in PM's as well (see my post above) so definitely something wrong with the message section of the app.

Thanks for the added detail (and PMs ). Interactions with other apps and the wide range of specs for Android devices does seem to cause headaches but every note like this helps us work towards providing a better app.

I'm pulling all of this feedback and bug list to pass on to the devs and will let you know of any updates in the pipe!

Great app and fab to use on the go!

To those of you whom have the iphone app and have not done as yet - it would be helpful to have iPhone review 'star rating' there are 4 reviews but no star ratings showing on main part, it says 'Average of 0 rating' it made me a little hesitant. I saw the app advertised on here and made my way to read the reviews which encouraged me to download it.
