What is MyBreakTrip?
MyBreakTrip is a website specifically designed to help travellers organise group trips of 10, 20, 50 or more into a single place. Our 1-stop service allows a group of travellers to organise all the logistics, communication, request and receive group quotes electronically and pay individually online. In other words, we're like a marketplace between travellers requesting tailor-made group deals and holiday suppliers providing quotes.

Trip Types
Our travellers use MyBreaTrip to create private trips for friends and family (e.g. stag/hen dos, large family trips, ski trips with friends, etc.). The Group Leader can create a trip within a few minutes and start inviting the rest to join the trip via email or Facebook. Each trip has a mini-blog where travellers can discuss about their trip.
We recently helped a group of 15 guys who wanted to organise a stag-do for Barcelona with complex trip itinerary (9 flying from Dublin, 4 from Bristol and 1 from London. One person wanted accommodation only). The group could choose a quote within 2 days and pay individually within 12 hours. Both these activities usually take weeks to complete.
We also have what we call a public trip. Public trips are ideal for singe/solo travellers or small groups of people. Travellers on public trips can be grouped by age, activity, event or hobby. For example, a group of Marathon runners travelling together to New York in November. The benefits of a public are both social and economic. People do get to travel with others sharing similar hobbies or interests and get cheaper deals when booking as large group rather than individually.
Who is providing the quotes?
We’re members of Travel Trust Association (TTA) which means that there is 100% financial guarantee to passengers’ monies at all time. As TTA members we have already formed partnerships or we act as agents for well-known UK tour operators and holiday suppliers such as Expedia, Jet2, Neilson, Crystal Ski and a few more. All quotes come from our partners/suppliers and are tailor-made to the needs of the trip request. For example, a group of 20 people submits a trip request from London to Cancun, 1 week in September, flights & hotel required, maximum budget £1,500pp including 1 group activity. We monitor all trip requests to ensure they’re genuine before engaging our suppliers. Each supplier has a profile into our website which can be used to provide quotes electronically into our platform.
Joint Venture Proposal
MyBreakTrip has a fully functional website and it’s a trading company. We believe we’ve completed the “proof of concept” phase so we’re now looking for a JV to help us mainly with the branding and marketing. We’re open for ideas so feel free to share.
