    We use Simple Formations.

Before you form a company, make sure you know what you're getting yourself into and have taken advice from your accountant. It's very easy for form a company but the responsibilities are quite high, with strict filing requirements every year, and harsh penalties for non compliance.

I already had LTD company before, so I know the rules quite well. The question is just who to form the company with this time. I need to compare more packages from more companies.

    That's good.

Simpleformations do everything, including all the bits of paperwork down to first minutes and online filing codes etc, not just the mem and arts, for about £35, highly recommended.

The formation is the simple bit, it's all the bits afterwards that are the harder ones! :)

Be careful, there are some VERY expensive packages out there and most of them only offer things that you can do yourself! there are a lot of cheaper packages that offer the same.

If it is JUST a company formation you want, then you shouldn't really pay anymore than £20-30 for it!

Probably one of the best ways to form your company would be to build a rapport with an accountant.

By trading as a limited company you will need to file accounts with companies house.

Many accountants will happily form a company on your behalf and it will only usually require a meeting with them to discuss directorships, share value etc and they will do the rest.

If you ask your chosen accountant to form the company, you can develop a relationship with them for when it comes to filing accounts later down the line. Many practices also offer great advise and links to networking events for startups which is invaluable when first starting out.
