UK clothing manufacturer

Hi,

I'm new to this site but there seem to be many knowledgeable people here so I think it's worth putting my query out there.

I have an idea for a good quality clothing line, very simple, and would like to keep the design / pattern making and manufacturing UK based (mainly from a quality control perspective). Can anyone recommend a clothing manufacturer that I can contact (hopefully someone on here can personally recommend a few) and meet with?

I'm sure I'll need to provide a bit more information for responses, if so, please let me know.
