UK Business account for Limited company while living abroad.

"Hi, i'm looking for some advice please.
I currently am a Sole Trader with a UK Business Bank account. I'm a UK citizen but I live in Thailand.
I run an online business with regular turnover and I now want to move from Sole Trader to Ltd company.
However I'm being rejected by banks who won't give me a bank account for the new Ltd company even though I have cash to put in there and can show a history of business through my current business account.
I suspect it's something to do with with not residing in the UK. Although I own my own property in the UK I rent it out so I don't live there.
Can anyone out there advise on how I might be able to get past the issues I'm having. I'd really appreciate any support.
It must be possible to do this as there are plenty of UK Ltd companies who are owned and run by foreign nationals / ex-pat like me.

Unless you're more into High Street banks, I strongly recommend Transferwise which is not a high street bank but still the best. Google it and check out their website, they offer a wide range of features which are very helpful for any kind of business.

Like any other company they do ID checks but since you're a UK citizen I am sure you can get it verified easily.
