UK Based Corporate US Dollar Account help required

Hi

I run an online business and was approached to run what i operate in the UK by someone in the US. I don't know them personally, the work for a franchised dealer in what i specialise in.

I have done all the IT work for the site to launch and with payment being taken by paypal in US$.

Does anyone know of a bank that will allow an internet based US$ account, that i can receive payments from my customers too, so i can then transfer these on to my supplier without incurring additional costs?

I want to be able to see the payment come in for a days trading and then transfer a payment on that same day?

Basically like the faster payment that most online banks offer these days.

I guess most banks will let you open an account in USD, approach who you bank with now and ask.

I have spoken to a few banks and they will open a US$ account for me, which i fine, but i need to be able to trasnfer the US$ to an account in the US without charges.

Mmm, I think you will struggle.

Only option I could think of is opening an USD account in the US, and having funds go there. That won't be easy though, and would most likely involve a trip to the US.

That was what i was thinking. I do have 2 good friends that live out their that might be able to open up an account for me. Thanks for your info
