Can anyone out there give me some twitter advice, I really want to build up confidence and then naturally promote my website. I think that I put up interesting information but rarely get any messages. Where am I going wrong. I am following approx 600 people and have 400 followng me. Thanks any help would be much appreciated

you want interaction, correct... so give them something to communicate with you about... asking provocative questions is perhaps one route.

Take some time to retweet and reply to what people you're following are saying. Start conversations, compliment people on well-written articles, etc. Why not post pictures and videos too, if you're not already?

Also have a mix of your content and the content of others that you're sharing. If you just post your stuff over and over again people won't be interested after the first time of seeing.

Interact with other tweeters and they will interact with you.

Remember to use the #hash key to highlight topics and look for target to send tweets to in the hope of a retween @bbcfootball. Also if you think the tweet is worthy ask for a retween "please RT"
